Lawyer kin benefit

Patna: The amount of death benefits to the kin of advocates has been raised from Rs 3.65 lakh to Rs 7 lakh. The retirement benefits have also been enhanced to Rs 4.5 lakh from Rs 2 lakh, Bihar State Bar Council chairman Baleshwar Prasad Sharma said. ccording to the notification issued on June 15, any lawyer dying within five years of practice would be entitled to benefits to the tune of Rs 2.6 lakh. The amount would increase with the duration of the practice.
