Patna: A special task force of Bihar State Electricity Board on Friday raided the premises of Hira Flour Mill in Muzaffarpur and detected a power theft of Rs 22.70 lakh by tampering the meter of the mill.

Dowry death

Chhapra: One Kusum Kumari married 20 days ago was allegedly murdered for dowry on Thursday. The father of the deceased Moti Lal Prasad has lodged an FIR alleging his daughter was killed for a demand of a motorcycle.

Body found

Chhapra: Police on Friday recovered the body of an unidentified person from a ditch at Nawada village under Rasulpur police station. The man was shot on his face and then his body was abandoned in a ditch, the police said.
