Patna: Two motorbike-borne youths, one of them the son of an assistant sub-inspector of the Kanyanpur police station in Motihari were arrested on Monday for allegedly misbehaving with a woman. he youths, both in an inebriated state, started misbehaving with the woman, a scribe, who was travelling on an autorickshaw.

Loot attempt

Muzaffarpur: Two robbers assaulted the wife of Minapur police station house officer at her residence under Barhampura police station Monday afternoon in a futile attempt to loot valuables.

Death

Samastipur: A 15-year-old girl, Munchun Kumari, who was allegedly burnt by her neighbour on September 14 at Kalyanpur village, succumbed to her injuries at Patna Medical College and Hospital on Sunday night.

Patna: Manjula Devi, mother of 24-year-old Saurabh who was kidnapped and murdered in 2008, deposed before the court of additional district and sessions judge Om Prakash Sinha in the case on Monday.

Life term

Patna: Additional district judge, Patna City civil court, Ved Prakash on Monday sentenced three residents of Bhaisani Tola under Malsalami police station in Patna City to life imprisonment in the kidnapping and murder case of three-and-a-half-year-old boy, Raushan Kumar.
