PIL dismissed

B>n Patna: A high court division bench on Wednesday dismissed a PIL, filed through advocate Dinu Kumar, seeking direction to the CBI to complete the investigation into the sleeper purchase scam, which caused a Rs 200 crore loss to the state exchequer.

Affidavit

B>n Patna: A division bench of the high court asked the state government to file its counter affidavit within four weeks on a PIL seeking direction to vacate the encroachers at waiting rooms and other places at railway stations by the Government Railway Police.

B>n Ara: Over 100 students of Upgraded Middle School at Narayanpur in Bhojpur district fell ill after taking midday meal on Wednesday. bout three dozen students, including some girls, have been admitted to Sadar hospital at Ara for treatment while others were released after treatment by the doctors posted at Referral hospital. Those undergoing treatment at Sadar hospital included Reeya Kumari, Aman, Nishant, Sabita, Kanchan Kumari, Sony Kumari, Kamlesh and Shashikant.
