Munger, Sept. 7 (PTI): A police sub-inspector was today punished with compulsory retirement in Munger on the charge of irregularity in discharge of duty.eputy inspector-general of police (DIG) Sudhanshu Kumar sent the officer in-charge of Town police station, Ashok Kumar Yadav, on compulsory retirement on the charge of misconduct in connection with the seizure of an explosive-laden vehicle in Kodarma area of Jharkhand.

Food bill

Patna: AN Sinha Institute of Social Studies and the state planning board would organise a two-day national seminar christened “Food Security Bill, 2013 and its implications on backward states” on Wednesday. The seminar would deliberate upon the food security bill, 2013, and its challenges in India with special reference to backward states.
