Buxar: Police rescued Krishna Kant Pandey, the 15-year-old boy, within hours of his abduction late on Saturday night. he boy was abducted from Sone of Churamanpur village of the district in an SUV. Acting on a tip-off, the police sealed the borders of the district. The assailants therefore dropped the boy near Jason Mor.

Patna: Communist Party of India has expressed solidarity with the farmers of Bihta who are observing a hunger strike to press for their demands of compensation. The plots of these farmers had been acquired for the industrial park in Bihta. Party state secretary Rajendra Prasad Singh on Sunday urged the government to hold meeting with the farmers and look into their demands.

Patna: Patna Electricity Supply Undertaking on Sunday touched the revenue of Rs 100 crore for the first time in August. Officials attributed the hike in revenue to the company’s special drive to disconnect power supply for irregular bill payment.

Patna (PTI): Ten people, believed to be employees of a private security agency, were arrested on Sunday with eight rifles from a vehicle near Icipur outpost in Dulhin Bazar police station area in the district.
