Patna: A high court division bench of Chief Justice Rekha M. Doshit and Justice A.K. Singh on Friday reserved the judgment after hearing both sides on a petition filed by Sunil Kumar and others challenging the publication of results of the 53rd to 55th civil services mains examination. he petitioner challenged the publication of results on the ground that the commission did not adopt the Union Public Service Commission’s norms for carrying out moderation for the purpose of declaring the results. The petitioner’s counsel, Dinu Kumar, questioned how the BPSC could carry out moderation in the absence of any rule in this regard. Patna: Doctors associated with Cancer Awareness Society on Friday expressed disappointment over the state government’s move to roll back the tax on raw tobacco (khaini) in the state. They criticised the government saying that its decision is anti-people because it would lead to increase in cancer cases.
