Patna: Bihar Bangla Academy will organise a two-day international seminar, Face of Bihar in Bengali Literature, at AN Sinha Institute. Academy chairman Dr Dilip Kumar Sinha said on Friday the seminar would focus on Bengali literature’s versatility.

Nitish demand

Patna, March 15: Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday said the railway minister should release more than Rs 300 crore to construct bridges in Munger and Patna, where as it had allotted only Rs 180 crore.

Patna: The high court bench of Justice Mihir Kumar Jha on Friday directed Gaya district magistrate to personally appear before the court on April 3 in connection with non-payment of salary of a retired village-level worker in Belaganj block of the district.
