Not business, but only the memory of the film matters, said Ram-Leela actor Ranveer Singh on his first visit to Patna on Wednesday.

He entered the stage dancing to Ram ji ki chaal dekho, the superhit song from the film, which hits the theatres on November 15.

When asked whether Ram-Leela will soar into the Rs 100-crore club, Ranveer said: “Many films have done businesses of Rs 100 crore. I believe the memory of the film matters the most. Therefore, people still enjoy watching films like Andaz Apna Apna.”

Ranveer said Ram-Leela would be a landmark film and was close to his heart. “It is not possible for every actor to do good films all the time. There are always ups and downs. But, I am sure that I will make a long jump with Ram-Leela.”

“Though the film got involved in a controversy, we did not intend to hurt anyone’s feelings. We made a few changes and would request everyone to watch the film,” Ranveer said.

Ranveer said the film is all about entertainment, comedy, action and dance. Commenting on Deepika Padukone, he said: “It is amazing working with her. She is an excellent co-star, sincere, disciplined and I admire her a lot.”

Ranveer denied of his alleged affair with Deepika. The actor also denied rumours that he did the film for money. “My father is a businessman and has earned enough to give me all kinds of facilities. Money has never influenced my decision. ”

Ranveer wants to do a biopic. “I want to do a biopic as it is difficult and challenging. I want to play Bhagat Singh.”
