Patna students might soon grab a job opportunity by displaying their hidden talents.

Master chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s restaurant in the city, The Yellow Chilli, has decided to organise a talent hunt for college students.

The idea is to explore hidden talents and reward the students with part-time or full-time job offers.

Management employee of the restaurant Rupa Sinha said: “We are planning to organise a talent hunt at selected institutes of Patna. The students would get a platform to display their talent. The winners would get cash prizes, certificates, trophies and food coupons.”

The restaurant also offers part-time or full-time job offers to students who excel in singing, cooking, anchoring and hosting.

Rupa said: “We would organise events and cultural activities at out restaurant to look for anchors. We have contacted different institutes to let their students take part in the events. The cultural activities would be held on Saturdays and Sundays. We would soon start catering services for which we require hosts and anchors. We would recruit part-time/ full-time hosts.”

The catering services would only start at selected events of government or private sectors.

Rupa stressed that only students of Indian Institute of Hotel Management, Hajipur, would take part in the cooking competition. The participants would have to come to the restaurant for the competition and job offers would be made to those who are selected.

Rupa said: “We are planning to collaborate with other companies to provide the students with more job opportunities.”

The restaurant would also offer complimentary dishes to their frequent visitors. Regulars can expect some kind of mocktail, the main course or sweet dish.
