Patna, Nov. 18: Finally, the angry young man has reposed his faith in God. Vijay Verma of Deewar is not only launching a devotional video album but also lending his baritone to one of the prayers.

The music album, composed by music director Aadesh Shrivastava, will be available in the market by next month. Over 20 renowned singers from Bollywood have sung in the album, being produced by Amitabh Bachchan’s AB Corp and shot in Mehboob Studio.
“It was not the first time that I got this golden opportunity to work with Amitji. Before this I have worked with him in two Bhojpuri films — Ganga and Gangotri released in 2007 and 2008 respectively. He always treats me like his younger brother and invites me to most of this family functions,” Manoj told The Telegraph over phone from Varanasi.
“This is the first time I got an opportunity to sing with so many eminent singers,” said Manoj.
The other signer who has lent their voice for this album are Kailash Kher, Hariharan, Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, KK, Sukhvinder Singh, Hans Raj Hans, Kumar Sanu, Roop Kumar, Vinod Rahod, Abhijeet, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Babul Supriyo.
Talking about the experience of working with Big B, Manoj said: “It was like a dream come true. I never thought I will get a chance to sing with Amitji. Besides being a fine artiste, he is also a very good singer. He has already sung songs in film like Laawaris, Pukar and Baghban. Though I have been singing devotional songs for the past many years, this album was an experience of a different kind,” said the Bhojpuri actor and singer.
Female playback singers like Anuradha Paudwal, Sadhana Sargam, Shreya Ghosal, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Sunidhi Chauhan have also given their voice for one track called Sitaram Jaap, informed Manoj.
Talking about his devotion towards Lord Hanuman, Manoj said: “Every Tuesday and Saturday, I make sure that I visit the temple of Lord Hanuman who is considered Sankat Mochan (saviour). This is the reason why the album has been named Dukh Harta Jai-Jai Hanumanta. It gives me immense pleasure whenever I work with Amitji. It’s my privilege to work with such a big star.”
Sharing the experience while recording the song, Manoj said, “We had very good time during the video shoot of the album. Dancers from Shiamak Davar’s classes were performing in the background and we singers were in the foreground, dressed in white kurta-pajama. Amitji looked handsome in the attire. Now that he has become a grandfather, he must be extremely happy. I wished him on the day Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave birth to a baby girl.”
The video of the Hanuman Chalisa is shot by director and cinematographer Govind Nihalani, informed Manoj.
