Chhapra, Jan. 7: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has raised serious doubts over the circumstances leading to the murder of Purnea MLA Rajkishore Keshari and has demanded that the causes, which led to his murder, be probed.
LJP state spokesperson Shailendra Pratap told The Telegraph his party mourns the death of the MLA but at the same time it also wants an investigation to be conducted regarding the circumstances that prompted Rupam Pathak to kill the MLA.
He said no woman resorts to such an act unless pushed to the wall.
“Why did Rupam Pathak dare to kill the MLA in daylight? There is something very fishy about it and many safedposh (so called respected people) would be exposed if a proper enquiry is carried out without any political interference.”
Shailendra said earlier, too, some politicians have played the game of “pyaar, dhokha and murder” (love, ditch and murder) citing the example of the Bobby murder case. He said ultimately the case was pushed under the carpet as high-profile politicians were said to be involved in the case.
Pratap questioned why the associate of the deceased MLA Bipin Rai is not being interrogated.
He added: “What are the reasons that kept Rupam disturbed and she had to kill Kesari? The allegations made by Roma Pathak, wife of the arrested scribe Navlesh Pathak must also be taken into account by the investigating body.”
She had said that her husband was arrested at the insistence of a leader in the ruling party.
