Patna, Feb. 16 (PTI): Senior JDU leader Nitish Kumar today hailed the Shiv Sena for speaking the ”truth” on the BJP’s role in Bihar’s political scenario. 

“The Shiv Sena has spoken the truth about the things going on in Bihar with the patronage of the BJP leadership,” Nitish said. The Sena, which shares power in Maharashtra with the BJP, had taunted the latter over Manjhi. It said backing him would be a “sin” as it would be an endorsement of the “black era in politics”. 

“The Trinamul Congress, BSP and others have also come out to flay the BJP for triggering disturbance in Bihar to prepare the ground for President’s rule,” Nitish, who received a call from BSP chief Mayawati last night, said. “The

JDU pre-empted the black deed of the BJP in its new avatar and severed ties well in advance (in June 2013),” he said.
