| A Congress leader pays tributes to a portrait of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her death anniversary in Patna City and (right) NIT-Patna students take part in a “Run for Unity” to mark the birth anniversary of India’s first home minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on Friday. More than 100 aspiring techies, along with teachers and non-teaching employees, took out time from their busy schedule and participated in the 500m sprint. The run was organised from the NIT ground to NIT Mor. Ankit Raj, a second-year BTech student, said: “The event sends a message of unity in the society.” The Union government on Friday marked the birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India by organising sprints all over the country.
