Gaya, Nov. 20: Saquib Hussain Siddiquee, a Class VII student of Kendriya Vidyalaya-I here, has bagged the first prize in an English debate competition at the national level, organised by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS).

Siddiquee won the contest after beating students from senior classes, including those from Class XII. Principal of the school Surendra Kumar Dhama said Siddiquee won the debate in Lucknow on November 15. It was conducted under KVS social science exhibition-cum-national integration camp, 2011. The topic of the debate was “Universal brotherhood is more valuable than patriotism”.
