Maharani Heroes won the second edition of the Gaya Premier League defeating Bhadeya Lions by 8 wickets in the final match on Sunday.

Batting first, Lions put up a paltry total of 96 runs after 18.3 overs. Vishwajeet claimed four wickets while Aman and Pawan Sharma picked up two wickets each. Pawan was also adjudged the-man-of-the match.

In reply, Prince (38) and Vikas (37) ensured that the Heroes won the game comfortably with nine overs to spare.

Sheshdeep Patra was declared as the man-of-the-series.
