Patna: Slamming the Bihar government's claim of 5 crore people participating in the human chain, RJD national vice-president Shivanand Tiwari on Monday demanded from chief minister Nitish Kumar to release the white paper of the funds spent in organising it.

"I feel like laughing at the claim made by deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi that 5 crore people participated in the event. Modi's claim of the 13,000-km-long chain is a lie," Tiwari said.

He took a dig at Nitish over the Z-Plus security saying he already has security at the level of the Prime Minister.

"Nitish has made a law for himself and it has the provision to provide security to him at the level of the Prime Minister. The kind of arms and ammunition carried by Nitish's security force matches that of the Prime Minister's. I think Nitish is the most expensive chief minister of India," Tiwari said.
