Impressed by the stupendous performance by Simultala residential school's students in the secondary examination, Super 30 has decided to provide free coaching to the toppers of the institution.
The director of Super 30, Anand Kumar, would provide free coaching to the toppers of Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya for cracking the IIT entrance test, provided they join his institution. He is waiting for the response from the school administration and the students.
Super 30 helps poor brilliant students crack IIT-JEE. Anand's institution has mentored over a hundred youngsters who cracked the IIT entrance examination.
Anand said: "Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya has performed brilliantly in its debut board examination and revived the old memories of Netarhat Vidyalaya, which is now in Jharkhand. Nineteen students scored over 96 per cent and broke the Bihar School Examination Board's record. It is a big achievement and such students need all the encouragement."
He said: "I have come to know that most of the students of the school are from poor families and that prompted me to offer my services in shaping their future. I shall look forward to help them in whatever way it is possible."
Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, run by the state government, had hogged the limelight when 30 students figured in the list of top 10 performers in the Class X examination of the Bihar School Examination Board. Its results were declared last week. Thirty out of 31 students of the institution figured in the list of top 10.
Kunal Jigyasu and Niraj Ranjan of the school were jointly declared first. They secured 97.4 per cent. The second position was also grabbed by two students of the institution - Mukul Kumar and Sonu Kumar. They scored 97 per cent.
A dream project of chief minister Nitish Kumar, Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya started functioning in August 2010. Located on a hilltop surrounded by jungles in Jamui district, about 230km southeast from Patna, the school offers education from Class VI to XII.
Students are selected every year on the basis of an intra-state competitive examination. Sixty boys and 60 girls are chosen for admission to Class VI.
