Patna, Dec. 11: Students of Rose Bud floored visitors with their hospitable demeanour at the annual school carnival today.

The students, who took charge of the games and food stalls on the campus, surprised even their teachers with their management skills.

Rose Bud school organised the annual carnival on the institute’s premises. Students, their parents and teachers were all invited to spend the day in a fun-filled environment, where food, games and pleasantries ruled the roost.

Teachers stepped up the momentum of the celebrations by joining the students in welcoming the guests. They even lent a helping hand to the students at the stalls.

M. Rizvi, the principal of the school, was also present during the carnival, which started at 9.30am and continued till 4.30pm.

Rizvi said: “The carnival is the yearly celebration of our school. The best thing about the event is that the students take charge of all things happening during the festival. Though the foods at the stalls are made by vendors, they are served by the students. Serving food to so many people needs planning and management. We want to inculcate these things in our students from the beginning. That is the reason why we organise the event every year.”

Even students’ parents participated in the jamboree. They turned up in huge numbers at the venue and were seen visiting at the different stalls.

The games stalls hogged the limelight today. Ringing the article, 7 over 7 under 7, coconut shy, win a number, lucky roll, win a heart and dip in, were some of the games where students flocked in large numbers. However, the food stalls were the icing on the cake, as golgappas, momos, ice creams and cold drinks kept the event going.

When there are food and games, can music be far behind? The students tapped their feet on music played on Juke Box. Students even left messages for their friends, parents and teachers on the gadget.
