Chhapra, Jan. 13: Five persons fell unconscious soon after consuming tea at Sonarpaatti mohalla under Chhapra Town police station early this morning.

According to information received, the incident took place after one Babita Kumari put pesticide instead of tea leaves by mistake while making tea for her family members.

Her family members fell unconscious after consuming it. They were brought to the Sadar hospital.

They have been released after initial treatment. Their situation is said to be stable, said a source in the hospital.
