Darbhanga, July 20: Keeping the plight of farmers in mind, All India Kisaan Sabha has launched a campaign across India to bring the problems of tillers in the forefront.

The organisation has started a weeklong campaign from Samastipur on July 17 and it is likely to end the drive with a state conference scheduled on July 24 at Naugachhiya in Bhagalpur.

The general secretary of the sabha and also the national secretary of the Communist Party of India, Atul Kumar Anjan, briefed reporters over the failure of the UPA government in safeguarding the interests of farmers in India. Anjan was speaking at the auditorium of Hotel Gautam at Mirzapur in Darbhanga today.
