The finale of the two-day career fair saw over 500 students visiting the stalls put up by educational institutions from across the country at Chanakya hotel on Sunday.
Afairs, an education fair organiser, conducted the 21st edition of the event to provide a wide range of career options to the students. Engineering, fashion and textile design, mass communication, foreign languages, theatre, arts and music, animation and aviation were some of the courses that were on offer at the fair.
Leading institutions from Calcutta, Dehradun, Bangalore, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi and other cities had set up stalls at the fair. Going by the assemblage, the most popular stalls were that of the management and engineering courses. However, courses like animation, aviation, acting and modelling, too, drew a considerable crowd.
Nitu Sharma, a representative at the stall of Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, Calcutta, said: “More than 100 students visited our stall with inquires related to MBA and PGDM courses.”
