Motihari, April 1: The corruption charges levelled on the Congress in the past few months would feature in the agenda of the BJP’s month-long campaign against corruption.
National co-convener of the BJP’s national investors’ cell and the state working committee member Mayankeshwar Singh told The Telegraph about the party’s decision to raise its voice against the corruption during the Congress regime that “has tarnished the image of the country”.
Singh is in Champaran to promote the life membership of the party and raise funds.
“Scams in 2G Spectrum, Common Wealth Games, Adarsh Society, the appointment of the chief vigilance commissioner, LIC housing and IPL Kochi franchisee surfaced during the present UPA government. These would get maximum focus in our forthcoming campaign,” the BJP leader said.
