Patna, Aug. 29: The Bihar Congress is for the first time in over two decades putting up a united face to ensure success of the August 30 rally.
"We have made arrangements for overnight stay of around 40,000 people coming on August 29 from different parts of the state for the rally. All our senior leaders, including former Kerala Governor Nikhil Kumar, have fanned out across the hinterland to solicit support," BPCC chief Ashok Choudhary said.
Congress Legislature Party leader Sadanand Singh had organised meetings with all factions of the party to ensure the rally's success. "Once we have entered into a grand alliance with the JDU and RJD, we are duty-bound to ensure success of the rally."
