Muzaffarpur, April 7: The ugly tentacles of decade-old caste conflict resurfaced on the premises of Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT) last night after a boy offered a chocolate to a friend of a different caste.

A clash between two groups of students on the institute premises ensued. Five students sustained severe head and body injuries. Two students, who sustained brain injuries, have been rushed to Patna for treatment. The other three have been admitted to private nursing homes at Juran Chapra locality.
