Patna, Sept. 15: The CBSE today announced the dates of filling up the board examination forms. The form fill-up process would start tomorrow and continue till October 15.
Deputy secretary of CBSE, Patna, K.K. Jain told The Telegraph: “Regular students of classes X and XII will now be able to fill up their forms online. The forms can be submitted from September 16. The last date for filling up the forms is October 15.”
Students, who fail to fill up forms on time, will have pay fine.
Jain added: “Those candidates who submit their forms between October 16 and October 31 will have to pay Rs 150. Those who submit their forms between November 1 and November 15 will have to cough up Rs 250. Students who would submit forms between November 16 and November 30 will have to pay a fine of Rs 350.”
Schools are required to submit the forms online for students who will take the exam in 2012.
For the private candidates, today was the last date to fill up the forms for the next year’s board examination. From tomorrow, the private candidates would have to pay a fine for filling up the forms.
The CBSE had asked private examinees to fill up forms directly at its regional office from September 1. This was done keeping in mind the unnecessary expenses borne by the private examinees in filling up forms.
