Patna, July 27: The BJP today demanded a separate wing of intelligence officers to keep tabs on the bordering areas.
“The recent arrest of a foreign national from Kishanganj in Bihar near the India-Bangladesh border in connection with the Mumbai serial blasts has once again underlined the fact that the existing set-up for collecting intelligence inputs has failed to meet the expectations. The need of the hour is to create a dedicated intelligence force trained to collect information on suspected activities in the bordering areas,” the Bihar unit president of the BJP, Dr C.P. Thakur, said.
