Patna, Sept. 21: Anil Sharma, a tender don, was caught on Saturday night enjoying the company of a call girl and savouring premium liquor even in judicial custody.

Sharma, who faces more than 50 cases of murder and abduction in Bihar and Jharkhand, is lodged in the prisoners’ ward of Patna Medical College and Hospital.

Sharma was found boozing with his aides, Imran Ansari and Manoj Kumar Sharma, when a police team raided the PMCH prisoners’ ward late on Saturday night.

The raiding team was stunned to see a young girl in the ward at night. Sharma, who was arrested by the Delhi police’s special cell in 2008 from Ranchi, however, claimed that the girl was his relative and had come to meet him.

The don kept mum when the team sought to know why the girl had come to see him at night. Patna senior superintendent of police Manu Maharaaj said: “We are verifying the girl’s antecedents.”
