Board reminder for exam centres

Patna, Jan. 4: Bihar School Examination Board has sent reminders to all the district magistrates of the state regarding the list of centres for the upcoming board examination. This year, around 11 lakh students would be appearing for the examination.

Some of the district magistrates have already sent the list of the centres whereas the rest have been sent the reminders.

This year’s board examinations are slated to commence from February 23.

During the examination, flying squads would be sent to the centres and also the chairman of the Board A.K.P. Yadav himself will be inspecting some of them.

Examinees would be given a time of 15 minutes prior to the examination, to read the question paper. The examinations would commence from 10am. The board examinations would continue till March 1.

Sources said if any of the centres sent by the district magistrates is found to be controversial, they would be asked to send a another list of centres instead of those.

Sources said handicapped people would be provided with special facilities.

On the other hand, chairman of Bihar School Examination Board has asked the students, parents teachers and principals to co-operate and ensure that the examination is conducted in a free and fair manner. It was also stated that of any student is found cheating, he would be punished.
