Patna, Feb. 18: Bihar Divas, to mark the 99th anniversary of statehood status to Bihar, will be observed in a grand way from March 22.
Human resource development (HRD) department principal secretary, Anjani Kumar Singh, said: “This year the function will be bigger than the previous years. All schools across the state will be decorated and the map of Bihar will be drawn on the walls of school buildings.”
Singh added: “At village-level people will be asked to lit up 99 lamps as the state will complete the 99th year and will enter its 100th year.”
