Youth body found
Patna: A body of a youth was recovered from Datraula village in Patna rural on Sunday.
Police said the body was identified as that of Rakib Abdullah, who went missing from Pakribarawan village last month. An affair is believed to be the reason for the murder.
Cop suicide
Patna: Birendra Kumar, an assistant sub-inspector posted in Purnea, shot himself with his service revolver late on Saturday evening. Sources close to his family said he was upset over non-payment of his salary since his transfer to Purnea from Bikramganj in Rohtas.

Patna: JDU MLA Sumit Kumar Singh on Sunday accused the BJP of backstabbing its allies. He said though the BJP has time and again accused the JDU of betraying it, it is the former which snubbed its allies, be it Shiv Sena in Maharashtra or AJSU in Jharkhand.
