Bihar’s biggest festival is no longer just confined to the state’s physical boundaries. Biharis, as they spread across the globe, have ensured Chhath is now celebrated globally on a par with other big festivals of India. Mauritius, Fiji, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname, Jamaica and other parts of the Caribbean, United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Macau, Japan and Indonesia have all seen Chhath celebrations
