Actor and BJP MP from Patna Sahib Shatrughan Sinha, known for making his party squirm with his comments, dished out another salvo on his 71st birthday on Friday.

Sinha, who shares his birthday with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, tweeted: "Wishing a very Happy Birthday to INC President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi. #HappyBirthdaySoniaGandhi & looking forward to my wish being reciprocated." Asked whether he had ever asked anyone to reciprocate his wishes, Sinha said over phone: "No, this is for the first time that I have asked someone to wish me."

He said he sought reciprocity from the Congress president because she was a special person and her family's contribution to the country was special. Sinha also termed Sonia as "Mother of Country's leader". Sonia is Rahul Gandhi's mother.

Sharing his birthday moments, he said: "The first call came in the night from Amitabh Bachchan. Friend, philosopher, Guide and Guru Advani Ji extended his birthday wishes this morning and my dearest friend Lalu Yadav called me this evening."
