Annual function

Krishna Niketan Girls' School organised its annual function on Thursday at Premchand Rangshala.

Union minister Ram Kripal Yadav inaugurated the programme.

The programme started with a Ganesh vandana. Students presented a series of acts.

Workshop

Bihar Tribal Rights Forum, a non government organisation, organised a workshop on tribal development at AN Sinha Institute of Social Studies on Thursday.

SC/ST welfare department minister Santosh Kumar Nirala attended it and directed his officials to release the pending scholarship money for Dalit students within the next 15 days. He said the state government will establish residential schools for SC/ ST students in every district.

 

New hotel

Bihar Legislative Assemble Speaker Vijay Kumar Chaudhury inaugurated Hotel Aalcajars-Inn on Kankarbagh Main Road on Thursday.

He congratulated the hotel and wished it luck. Hotel general manager Pushkal Kumar Sinha said: "My team will strive for betterment of the hotel."
