Patna, Dec. 5: The state government today notified postings of three senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers as well as 16 of those officers who were promoted to the rank of IAS in October this year.

Senior IAS officers R.K. Mahajan and Harjot Kaur, both of whom were waiting for postings, have been made transport department secretary and managing director of Comfed respectively.

C.K. Anil, who at present is posted as adviser in the state planning board, has been given additional charge of managing director, Biscomaun. Newly promoted IAS officer Dhirendra Mohan Jha has been made labour commissioner and Anil Kumar Verma has been made special secretary in the water resources department.

Virendra Kumar Singh would be the new disability commissioner and Parmanand Jha would be special secretary in labour resource department.

Rambabu Singh has been posted as special secretary in the rural development department and Dharmeshwar Thakur has got the same post in the home department.

Vijay Kumar Singh has been made the new special secretary of Industry department and Raghvendra Jha has been made additional secretary in parliamentary affairs (Rajbhasha) department.

Ramroop Singh would be director social welfare department and Upendra Kumar would be the new director for employment and training.

Anil Kumar has been posted as additional secretary in the rural development department and Rajiv Kumar Singh would hold the same post in the disaster management department.

Newly promoted Misbah Bari has been made additional secretary in registration, excise and prohibition department and Sanjay Kumar Singh would be additional secretary in health department. Iftekhar Hasan would be additional secretary-cum-chief executive officer of Bihar State Haj Committee.
