Los Angeles, Jan. 5: Casey Johnson, the heiress to the Johnson & Johnson empire, has been found dead.

The 30-year-old socialite, who had a history of drug abuse, was discovered in her Los Angeles apartment yesterday morning, according to the entertainment website TMZ.

The gossip website said that it appeared that Johnson had died a number of days before her body was discovered.

Johnson was reportedly “engaged” to Tila Tequila, the bisexual US reality TV star, who seemed unsure whether her partner was dead or in a coma. Tequila posted a series of contradictory messages on Twitter, first claiming Johnson was dead, then stating she was alive in a coma, before tweeting her to “R.I.P”.
