Belgium may be at the start of a second wave of coronavirus infections after reporting a 32 per cent increase in weekly cases, though for now the resurgence appears more localised than the initial outbreak, virologists said on Friday.

From July 7-13, the country recorded an average of 114.7 confirmed new cases per day, a 32 per cent rise over the previous week.
