Celebration of Bangla music
As part of its effort to put the spotlight back on Bangla music, Anandabazar Patrika and 91.9 Friends FM present KKN Group Bangla Sangeet Puraskar. The event ushers in the first-of-its-kind award, recognising the enormous music talent that the Bangla music industry boasts of. There are five major award categories recognising musical excellence — Rabindrasangeet, Bangla Adhunik, Bangla Film, Bangla Band and a special Lifetime Achievement Award. Renowned vocalists Lopamudra, Shubhamita , Rupankar, Usha Uthup and popular band Chandrabindoo will enthrall the audience with their performance. The best singer, best song, best band, best album, best film, best music director and best lyricist will be honoured in this prestigious event.
