July 16 at La Martiniere for Girls, Millennium Hall; 4.15pm: Global Village: The Cultural Extravaganza 2012. Presented by AIESEC Calcutta, American Center, Calcutta, La Martiniere for Girls and FACES. To be inaugurated today, this five-day interactive festival will bring together 17 city schools for a celebration of 15 different countries. July 16 at Rabindra Sadan; 6.30pm: Bhavna presents Premer Badal Namlo — an evening of Tagore songs on the rainy season to be rendered by Manoj Murali Nair and Manisha Murali Nair. Radio partner: 91.9 Friends FM. Also, launch of an audio CD of 10 Tagore songs on monsoon sung by the two artistes.
