Net duels
The battle of the rackets is on at Saturday Club, as the best corporate teams play for The Telegraph Cup Badminton 2011. On till February 13, the matches will be played from 6pm on weekdays and from 3pm on weekends. Twenty-one matches will be played to decide the top nine companies who will compete for The Telegraph Cup and the bottom nine will compete for the Plate. The Plate trophy match starts at 4.45pm on February 13 after which the The Telegraph Cup match will begin at 5.30pm.

pERFORMING ARTS

February 7 at ICCR; 6 pm: Bhavna Aaj O Kal & CenturyPly present Remembrance, a musical tribute to Pandit Bhimsen Joshi and Suchitra Mitra. ANNIVERSARY

February 7 at Ramakrishna Math, Trigunatitananda Dham, Naora, P.O.-Bodra, P.S.-Bhangar, 24 Parganas (South): The 146th birth anniversary of Swami Trigunatitanandaji Maharaj, one of the direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna, will be observed at his birthplace. On this occasion, the Ashrama situated in this village will be handed over to Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math. Swami Atmasthanandaji Maharaj, president, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, will offer his blessings and Swami Prabhanandaji Maharaj will preside.
