Chhatra Parishad (CP) and Trinamul Congress Chhatra Parishad (TMCP) members clashed over opening of a unit of the Congress’ student wing on the BT Road campus of Rabindra Bharati University on Monday afternoon. ahul Ray, the state president of CP, alleged that TMCP state secretary Sujit Sam and his supporters had assaulted a member of the Congress wing when they went to meet vice-chancellor Chinmay Guha.
