Siliguri: The Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority has come up with a land bank of around 150 acres for private investors in Siliguri sub-division and Jalpaiguri district.

Sourav Chakraborty, the chairman of the SJDA, said on Tuesday that it had received at least six proposals from different private companies, including Metro Cash & Carry and a private healthcare group, to set up units in and around Siliguri and require land.

The land bank has been developed with unutilised plots of the SJDA.
