Siliguri, Nov. 12: The postal department is poised to make money transfer a lot easier with the launch of two new services simultaneously in Siliguri and Gangtok head post offices as well as the six district headquarters of north Bengal today, reports our correspondent.

While the Extended Satellite Money Order System will enable one to send and receive money from any of the 240 earmarked cities in the country on the same day, Western Union money transfer will enable transfer of money from foreign countries in minutes.

For transfer of money from foreign countries, the charges would be borne by the sender.
