Secret of success

Dear Sunil, I would like to congratulate you on your Herculean effort to continue your studies and fulfil your dream of becoming a chartered accountant in the face of all hardships ( Boy scripts a dream from footpath stall, November 29). I encourage you to go forward and God willing you will reach your goal. I take this opportunity to laud Metro for reaching out to brilliant students like Sunil and helping them. Keep up the good work.

Debabrata Sanyal

The struggle of Sunil Mahato and his mother against all odds is an example for many to emulate. Sunil's unputdownable willpower and indomitable courage will certainly help him achieve his goal. The recognition from The Telegraph is his first stepping stone to success. May God bestow him with courage and strength to fulfil his aspirations.

Hira Lal De, Bhadreswar

Very encouraging story, they are our real future.

Saha

Dear Sunil, your story has inspired me. I wish you all the best in life. Keep fighting till you reach your goal. God be with you.

Shyamal Sinha

My message for Sunil is that hard work is always rewarded. Willpower is one's greatest strength. He should continue to concentrate on his studies and also help his mother.

Monirul Islam Mullick,? Andul, Howrah

We are moved by the story of Sunil and his mother. Our message to Sunil is, keep it up boy, God indeed is with you.

Operation courage

As a TTIS reporter, I met Oindri during Choto Chokhe Boro Pujo, and needless to say I am yet to meet another person as brave as her (Surgeries a way of life for this teenager, November 30). Knowing about her condition, I could only wonder how she could be so brave, chatting with us, singing songs and playing games. Coordinating with Oindri on an assignment she worked on from her hospital bed, I can say I am yet to meet another braveheart, another fighter like her. Even though she has been going through so much, she never let us know, chatting with us, laughing at lame jokes. I have learnt a lot from her. Oindri, you have a long long way to go. But remember I am always with you. Fight girl, never give up. Never forget, when the night is the darkest it is then that the rays of dawn illuminate the sky.

Ahana Mukhopadhyay, St. Thomas' Girls' School

Bravo Oindri. You will always be in my prayers. God bless you my child! I would also like to congratulate The Telegraph for such wonderful work.

Suhita Chakrabarti

Oindri Didi, you are stronger than you know, braver than you think and more loved than you can imagine. We are always with you.

Go girl

Thanks for sharing the journey of Reza Razi and Aduri Khatun ( Spirited sprinter and her gritty guru, December 2). I was raised in a village of Bengal and this report touched my heart. I am now settled in Boston and am also a long-distance runner.

Pradip K. Majumder

In an imperfect world, it's magical to learn about such perfectionists. Hats off to the disciple and the guru.

Ashwini Mishra

People like Aduri and Razi define all those sayings about life and living we sport on our tees and wallpapers. With their tenacity, they inspire others and help give their lives meaning. Aduri doesn't simply run, she enjoys freedom while she does it and I guess there can't be anything more special. Best of luck to her and respect for Razi sir. I am sure one day she will overcome all obstacles.
