Shahnaz Husain loyalists in Howrah will not have to look beyond their town to find beauty products and cosmetics from the brand. Just Shahnaz, the first signature store of Shahnaz Husain products, has opened its doors at 493C/A, GT Road, Block H, Vivek Vihar, near Fazir Bazaar in Shibpur. The store is stocked with all types of Shahnaz Husain brand products in skin and hair care. 

“There are many customers who come to my salon asking for Shahnaz Husain products. Although there are multiple international brands in beauty treatment and personal care, most women still prefer Shahnaz’s organic products,” said Pratima Mathuria, who runs the Shanaz D’ Princess salon and has opened the new store. Speaking from experience, Pratima feels that organic products are more appealing to people these days because of their long-lasting effects. 

“Most people have sensitive skin or hair that react to chemical creams or dyes. In contrast, organic products have no side effects.” While the products will always be available at the store, and customers will be free to browse through the items, a beauty expert will be available to guide them. “The expert will judge their skin or hair texture and will prescribe products accordingly,” said Pratima. The store is the first of its kind in Howrah and Pratima feels that people will now be able find the right kind of products easily. 

“There are a number of products  that are introduced or upgraded from time to time, but these are not easily available in the market. This store will have all of those products,” she said.
