Huldah Buntain, the co-founder of Assembly of God Church Mission Calcutta, passed away in Oklahoma City in the US on Friday.

She was 96 and was living with her daughter.

The mission has churches and schools. There are 14 schools in English and vernacular mediums in Bengal.

“The last time that she came to the city was in January 2020 for the founder’s day programme just before the pandemic,” said Lionel Chellappa, principal, Assembly of God Church School, Park Street.
