A 29-year-old man was found hanging at his house in Talbagan in Kasba on Tuesday evening. Police said Sanu Parbat, who ran a travel business, was declared dead at SSKM Hospital. No suicide note was found, officers said.

In Garfa, a 22-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his home on Tuesday evening. Debasish Das was declared dead at a hospital in Dhakuria. Police said a preliminary inquiry suggested that a recent break-up in a relationship led to the suicide.
