TREAT AFTER MEET WITH CELEBS

A restaurant called Peter Platter was opened on the side verandah of the sixth floor of Finance Centre which houses the Mother’s Wax Museum on Saturday. It will serve Continental alongside Chinese and Indian dishes. While the cheapest dish at the restaurant is aloo paratha-dahi at Rs 45, the costliest is The Peter Continental Combo Plater. Priced Rs 355, it serves French fries, chicken nuggets, onion rings, smoked fish and boiled egg.
It also has an ice cream booth from Baskin Robbins where ice cream would be served in cone-shaped tacos. “We are also planning to introduce ice cream rolls with fresh fruits,” said proprietor Nilantika Sarkar.
A spectacular view of Eco Park and the Major Arterial Road from the balcony is a bonus.
