Considered among the most advanced photo-editing apps, Adobe has brought Photoshop to Android, months after launching it on the iOS store. Photoshop for Android includes many features from the desktop version, including layers, masks, brushes and Firefly generative AI tools, but with a UI optimised for mobile devices.
All the app’s features are accessible for free during the initial beta period, with additional capabilities coming soon. At the moment, users can combine and blend images using core tools like selections, layers and masks. You can also quickly remove or replace parts of an image with the intuitive Tap Select tool. In case you want to use stock images, take advantage of the growing library of free Adobe Stock assets. There is also the option to refine images with advanced tools like Remove and Clone Stamp.
Users will be able to connect with the Photoshop community through the Adobe Community Forums. Adobe Photoshop (beta) app on Google Play is now available for devices running Android 11 or later, with a minimum of 6GB of RAM (8GB or more recommended for optimal performance).
