Calcutta: Don Bosco, Liluah (DBL) rode strikes from Sohan Ghosh and Aniket Wilson to win 2-0 against Birla HS in the Keventer Cup inter-school football tournament, organised by the Debanjan Sen Foundation, at the La Martiniere for Boys ground, on Tuesday.

Both teams found it difficult on poor ground conditions as the first half ended goalless. But after the halfway stage, Sohan and Aniket found the target to seal a crucial win for their school. Sohan was adjudged Man of the Match.

In the other match at the venue, Duane Andrews and Brinsley Murray were on target as La Martiniere for Boys continued their winning run, beating Frank Anthony Public School 2-0.

At the St James' ground, The Heritage School won 2-1 over Patha Bhavan. Rahul Badoni and Rishav Shaw scored for The Heritage, while Soumyajit Dutta pulled one back for Patha Bhavan.
